On this day, the traditional festive lighting of the tree takes place. The most beautiful square in Prague will be decorated with a twenty-seven-metre-high spruce tree from the Liberec Region. Don't miss out on this spectacle. 

Tip: The Original Beer Spa in Rybná Street is located just a few meters from the Old Town Square. Treat yourself to a well-deserved break in the beer spa after your Christmas walk. 

Christmas markets on Wenceslas Square 

Feel the magic of Christmas on Wenceslas Square, and marvel at the sight of the beautiful tree imported from the Lusatian Mountains as you meander between the stalls brimming with artisanal Christmas gifts and goodies. The Christmas market season is from 2nd December to the 6th January.
